“My very first introduction to CrossFit was through my boyfriend, who, after we first moved to Wauwatosa together, joined and became a member at a nearby CrossFit gym. He would consistently come home and tell me how great a workout he had and all the great people he was meeting. His results said it all! I was nervous and envious for months, feeling unmotivated and scared to try it because I had no workout regimen for myself outside of walking our dog.
Then one day, I finally decided to reach out to Emma. We had attended college together back in the day. I was her student athletic trainer, so I knew this lady was a great athlete! After reaching out to her, and explaining how nervous I was to try CrossFit, being a 5’1, measly muscled woman, she offered personal training, just one-on-one time with her.
Best decision of my life! After my first session with Emma, my butt was kicked but my ego was boosted. She continued, over the course of my sessions, to show me just how tough I was, and would not take it easy on me. She showed me how to scale workouts to work best for me, and how I could easily blend in with the big guys at the gym. I mean, she even made me do wall walks, which looking back, I would have never attempted…and I killed them!
I felt so confident after working with her, that I became a member, and everything she taught me just clicked! She is a fantastic coach, so motivating and relatable. I have never had any issues getting in contact with her, and she will work with you as best as she can. She made CrossFit so much more for me.”
